I am a Life Member of Tri-Community VFW Auxiliary 4719, Gahanna, OH. I joined the Auxiliary in October 2013, under the eligibility of my father David Butts, who served for 25 years in the US Navy and completed 2 tours of duty in Vietnam. My mother also served 2 years in the Navy. My husband Richard is Retired Army and completed 2 tours in Vietnam during his 28 years.

In 2018, I was appointed Auxiliary Secretary and the following year I was elected Auxiliary President and I served for 3 years. I am currently a Trustee. In July 2020, I entered the District line as Conductress. 

My favorite thing about the Auxiliary is the sense of family and working together to help our Veterans and their families.  I can't think of a better way to honor them all.
