Heather is a life member of auxiliary 7174 in The Plains, Ohio joining in 2008. Her eligibility is under her father, Captain C.J. Josten, who served in the Army during the Korean War. He was also Athens County Veterans Service Officer for 26 years.

She has served many offices with the auxiliary over the years at auxiliary, district, and department levels including District 12 President (Outstanding District President 2021-22), Department Youth Chairman, and Department Guard.

She is very honored to be serving this great organization.
