Billie Melott

Billie Melott became a member of VFW Auxiliary 66 in July 1988, establishing her eligibility through her father, William "Bill” Melott, a veteran of the Vietnam War. Since that time, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the organization through dedicated service, effective leadership, and meaningful mentorship.
At the Auxiliary level, Billie has served in every office apart from Trustee, and she has also fulfilled the responsibilities of every chairmanship. At the District level, she has honorably served as President on four occasions, Senior Vice President twice, Junior Vice President twice, Secretary once, and Chief of Staff once, in addition to holding several district chairmanships. She was elected Department of Ohio Guard for 2025–2026 and Department of Ohio Conductor for 2026–2027.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Billie sincerely appreciates the steadfast support of her fiancée, her family, and her district. She enjoys karaoke, dancing, cooking, and meeting new people. She remains deeply committed to serving veterans, their families, and fellow Auxiliary members. She is especially enthusiastic about mentoring and encouraging others, as well as recruiting new members, to ensure the continued strength, growth, and success of the VFW Auxiliary.
